gamescom events - exemption from liability for minors
To take an active part in all events, minors need to bring a exemption from liability. These forms need to be signed by their parents and need to be shown at the particular event station.
gamescom meets Titus
With the boys from TITUS, a very special sport act is coming to gamescom. The team.TITUS drivers and special guests will treat spectators to breathtaking tricks on a 30m² mini-ramp. But spectators will have more to do than just watch. If you’d like to try out a skateboard yourself, you can practice your first tricks on the mini-ramp. The big fingerboard park, on the other hand, offers pocket-sized action. After wearing themselves out on skateboards, visitors can chill out in the relaxing corner seating or marvel at the wide variety of items on display.
Motorcycle show
Do you like to ride motorcycles? Have you ever tried? No driver’s licence? No problem! The gives visitors the chance to try out motorcycles and scooters. Personal instructors are on hand to teach those without a driver's licence (18 years of age and over; consent form from legal guardian required for riders ages 16 and older – available for downloading here.
Children under 16 who wish to ride on their own can receive thorough instruction and try out motorcycles and scooters with 125 ccm or less on the Teen test track (ages 12 and over – with consent of legal guardian). Drivers with valid licences can ride bikes with up to 34 HP on the Big test track. To prepare for the real thing, visitors can try the Kawasaki Z 1000 motorcycle simulator from the Institute for Motor Vehicle Safety (IFZ) in Hall 8.
