Koelnmesse hosts the gamescom award annually which pays homage to the best games and products premiered at the gamescom. Within the context of gamescom, the submitted titles are evaluated by an international independent jury of experts, categorised and are give awards. The gamescom award is designed to promote new computer and video game products.
