Canada Receiption
The Government of Canada and the provinces Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec und Newfoundland & Labrador are inviting to a Canada Receiption on Wednesday, August 18th, 2010, 17:00 – 19:00 h.
Minister Counsellor Tom Marr from the Embassy of Canada in Berlin together with the Canadian Consulat are international industry representatives for networking purposes.

Panel Discussion – Tax credit and provincial panel
On Thursday at 10:30 a.m. the Candadian provinces and Rob de Petris, Senior Tax Manager Deloitte will present a panel discussion on tax credits. Furthermore Export Development Canada will provide an overview on financial moduls.
Trade visitors and exhibitors are cordially invited to join this panel discussion in the Canada business lounge.
Kanada @ GDC Europe, sponsored session with THQ
During GDC Europe Canada will appear on the scene already before gamescom has started. On August 16th, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. a sponsored session with THQ will be held in the Congress Center East. Within that session Don Whiteford, Creative Director Juicy Games will report on the topic „Rethinking a Studio for the Digital Space”.
