Tips for your visit to the entertainment area

Concession reduced day tickets
Reduced day tickets entitle pupils aged 12 and over, students, trainees, pensioners, senior citizens aged 65 and over, disabled persons, as well as persons undertaking voluntary social work in Germany (FSJ/FÖJ, BFD) to one-time access to the trade fair on the specified day. Please be absolutely sure to bring valid proof of your entitlement to a concession with you (e.g.student ID) and picture ID (identification card, passport, drivers license) and to keep it with you.

Age wristbands
Together with the youth protection partner USK (Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle, Entertainment Software Self-Regulatory Authority), Koelnmesse and the exhibitors ensure via the distribution of different coloured age wristbands that young visitors really only see what is intended for their eyes. You receive the age wristbands in the entrance areas and in each exhibition hall.

Backpacks & bags
In order to assure your safety at gamescom, we carry out checks before and on the fair grounds, especially of bags or backpacks. In order that the waiting times are nonetheless as short as possible for everyone, you should leave everything you don't absolutely need at home – and thus have more time for gaming.
